Russ Craig brings over twenty-five years of
strategic consulting, line management, and entrepreneurial success
to his consulting practice with Vericours. His
experience includes business strategy formulation and implementation,
business performance improvement, and corporate development, including
M&A. He works closely with clients in all aspects of his assignments
and often functions as a temporary executive when necessary.
Russ started his consulting career at McKinsey
and Co, where he dealt with high technology and industry clients.
Experience as a Vice President and Director of the Electronics
Practice at Arthur D. Little and Partner in Strategic Services
at Accenture provide additional strategic
consulting and corporate development experience, as well as exposure
to a broad range of industries. He deals with both small firms
and multinationals and has worked extensively in Asia, South America,
and Europe.
Additionally, Russ has functioned as a line
manager in various high technology companies. He ran a division
of Teradyne, was Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at Genrad
where he oversaw
the acquisition and integration of three technology companies,
ran the consulting services activity at DEC for a period, and
was COO and Co-founder of a software startup, Simpli.com, which
was sold to NetZero in 2000. Russ sat on the board of Chipsoft
where he helped take it public, grow
it through acquisition, and sell it to Intuit for $250M.
He is currently a non-executive Director of 3i
European Technology Trust, which invests in smaller publicly traded
technology firms. |

A seasoned management consultant with over twenty-five years experience
in business strategy, business performance improvement and alliance
transactions, Ron works closely with clients to identify and
evaluate business opportunities and to help them define the strategies
and build the capabilities needed to achieve success.
As a Partner with McKinsey & Co, and
leader of their computer industry consulting practice, Ron assisted
firms in a broad range of industries, including electronics, computers,
communications, financial services, health care, energy, and industrial
manufacturing. He also served as SVP Marketing and Practice Development
for Renaissance Solutions, a boutique knowledge management consulting
firm, and was a member of their Executive Committee through a successful
IPO. Ron also co-founded and served as COO of Nextera Enterprises,
a diversified management consulting firm, and led that firm through
its strategy development, numerous successful acquisitions and a
successful IPO.
In addition to his consulting experience,
Ron has held line management roles in marketing, operations and
information systems, and served as CEO of an early stage eLearning
software company. He is an Advisor to Echelon Ventures, an early
stage venture capital firm, and to Boston Projects, Inc., a boutique
private equity investment firm. He also serves on the Board of
Directors of SiteScape, Inc., an early stage collaboration software
firm. |
